Due to continued growth, Republic is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst. Reporting to the IT Systems Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for the delivery of strategic solutions to the business in line with Republic's value creation plan.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

- Build strong working relationships with key business stakeholders and end users
- Capture business requirements and ensure these are captured in a functional requirements document which is understood by the business and the supplier / systems developer
- Conduct feasibility studies to identify opportunities for improved business performance through system changes
- Create a robust case for investment to change existing, or implement new systems
- Translate business needs into a structured set of functional and technical requirements
- Convert concepts in to creative, workable and deliverable solutions
- Manage issues, actions and risks for the project / or systems change
- Manage system test plans and issue lists during development
- Organise and facilitate User Acceptance Testing ensuring business sign off is achieved to the functional requirements
- Develop training strategy and create training material for business end users
- Provide handover training and documentation to the IT Support team and provide support to the business during project implementations
- Provide ongoing 3rd line support to resolve critical business incidents where required

Essential Skills / Experience:

As a Business Analyst you will need:

- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- In-depth knowledge of EPOS solutions (preferably Torex - Retail-J POS system and MiRetail Hub) and Multichannel retail solutions
- In-depth knowledge of Workforce management solutions (preferably Ceridian WFM system)
- Knowledge of business process modelling
- Experience of working in a retail environment as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
- Able to work on multiple projects, delivering on time and to budget
- Good all round technical knowledge of databases and systems
