We require a JAVA Software Engineer for a very successful company based in Bournemouth, Dorset.



We require a proven track record of developing Java and Web applications. We are open to experience levels and seek from Junior to a Senior level Engineer



Other skills would be very welcome.



Experience of designing, developing and coding against web services
Experience of creating UIs, particularly on mobile devices
Experience of coding for embedded systems

Any Ruby/Perl/CMS experience a plus
Experience of DLNA/UPnP
Understanding of networking
Creation of networking/application layer stacks
Good personal time management with an ability to self-prioritise and organise
Ability to work effectively in a team or as an individual contributor
Experience of working with external software build contracts





This role requires the ideal candidate to be resourceful, adaptable and drive, with an ability to think outside of the box and walk through any given problem, even in cases where prior domain knowledge is unavailable. Enthusiasm and a willingness to jump into any problem will be essential!
