Our client is a leading niche engineering support services group operating in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical food and defence sectors. The Group supports its blue chip client base using an integrated offering of design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and decommissioning
The group employs almost 2,000 people across eight businesses in the UK and Northern Ireland.
They are currently recruiting for positions within their nuclear engineering and decommissioning division which provides complete turn-key project solutions including in-house engineering design, engineering and manufacture, project and site management, installation, commissioning and plant operations.
PROCESS ENGINEER
Job Purpose
*To undertake Process related activities and technical support for company on projects in the UK.
*The job demands the ability to work closely with other Engineers from within the company and up to the end user.
Key Accountabilities
*To perform the job requirement in accordance with the company's recognized Quality standards and Procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Skills/ Experience and Qualifications
*Ideally educated to a degree level in a suitable chemical or related background. Ideally you will have membership of a relevant professional body.
*You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in process engineering field.
*To produce process related documents necessary for the execution of projects. These will typically include the production of Process Calculations, Mass Balances, Flow Diagrams, Process Data Sheets, Operational Descriptions and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
*Have a familiarity with system PLC controls and a recognised level of PC computer literacy
*To offer where necessary process commissioning support to site commissioning engineers. This may be either office or field based support.
*Support to the sales department in Process related matters for new and on-going enquiries.
*Participation in development and co-operation with groups both internal and external to the company.
Willingness to travel
Occasionally
Experience of working with British Energy / EDF Energy supporting nuclear power stations in the UK would be a distinct advantage.
