This client is an international provider of HR & Payroll Systems. Recruitment is high on their agenda & they are currently looking to recruit a number of Software Developers to develop enterprise level applications for their UK client base.

Development team is based at modern office complex in Glasgow

Candidates will ideally have exp. of the Microsoft toolset: - SQL Server, VB.Net or C#, although Software Developers with a strong background in SQL and other development languages will be considered.

Successful candidates will be involved in the full software development lifecycle from design phase to implementation.

You need to be able to think logically & out of the box. Your input into the design of their applications is essential to the success of the implementations. The development team has a reputation for being very interactive. Knowledge sharing is highly encouraged.

Office environment is friendly & relaxed. Management team is always on hand to offer up advice both technical & business related.

As the majority of development is project based your responsibilities may vary day to day. Main tasks will involve the following:-

* Systems analysis & design
* Hands on coding using Visual Studio
* Estimating
* Database design
* Dealing with complex database queries
* Integration with third party applications
* Complex validation
* Creating and configuring workflows
* Regular communication with clients, product managers, project teams and project managers

In return for your software skills you can expect to be rewarded with an attractive base salary which ranges from £24,000 up to circa £33,000 pa (dep on experience) + comprehensive benefits package.
