An enterprising building services design consultancy is looking to expand its busy south Manchester office with the addition of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to play a key role in the development of this office. You will work within an established team to take an active involvement in a variety of refurbishment, modernisation and new build projects. You will be involved in building services projects across a number of sectors including educational, healthcare, and commercial .You will be involved in developing designs from concept through to construction stage.
The successful candidates will be required to:
Undertake detailed design and Project Management for a variety of Mechanical Building Services projects.
Liaise with external clients and other design disciplines within the multi-disciplinary environment. Produce briefs, specifications, design drawings, survey work, and technical report writing.
Work as part of a team and provide support to junior mechanical building services engineers when required.

Our clients are looking for suitably qualified individuals with a range of project based Mechanical Building Services Design experience as well as being qualified to HNC level in Building Services Engineering.
Have good overall MS Office experience and be conversant with design software.
