Varied and exciting role for an experienced Technical Consultant to take the lead in providing Pre-Sales Solution designs and Project delivery to our client's customers, running a variety of Vendor applications (McAfee, Sophos, Total Defense, Safenet, RSA). You will join a Group that has grown its annual revenues by 740% since 2007. The company provides a wide range of converged managed solutions including Managed Support Services, Unified Communications and Collaboration, Communications and Mobility, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure services. By utilising traditional telephony and existing IT and mobile applications, coupled with next generation Internet Protocol (IP) services, this company creates bespoke solutions for organisations, which increase efficiency, reduce costs and provide disaster recovery contingencies for its customers. As Technical Consultant, you will already be experienced in many of the following: McAfee; Mail/Web Security, Data Protection, Endpoint Protection, Network Security, and Security Management. Sophos; UTM, web protection, Endpoint protection, Data loss protection. CA Total Defense. You will also have an understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft AD. It will also assist your application if you've worked with either of the following Vendor products; Cisco, Juniper. The pre-sales part of this role will include gathering requirements, proof of concept, designing/implementing solutions, providing technical expertise to clients, aiding the sales team in tenders/quotes, developing relationships and mentoring team members when necessary. You will travel and attend meetings with the sales team, who are newly energised and very receptive to pre sales assistance, this is a growing company where the energy levels are high within sales. On the post sales side of your role, you will perform Health checks of customer implementations and will run vendor product training courses to end customers, both in house at the Stoke office, and on customer sites. Finally, when required you will assist with outstanding support calls using Webex etc. The pre and post sales elements of your role will entail travelling to client's sites throughout the UK though it is envisaged that you will be living centrally within the midlands area.
