We are currently recruiting for an established & prestigious organisation that is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager with experience of selling Corporate Performance Management solutions to the social housing or local government market.

Day-to-day activities will include taking ownership for new business sales of an Information Management (IM) product suite including sales lead accountability and the ownership of opportunities and pipeline. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish. The successful applicant will be a gregarious individual with demonstrable and successful track record in new business sales, will have a history of selling to senior decision makers, will have social housing or local government software sales experience, will have the ability to qualify and prioritise leads as well as the ability the generate opportunities through prospecting, networking and relationship building. You will have strong negotiation skills, excellent presentation, communication & writing skills as well as having a comprehensive working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including MS PowerPoint. It is necessary that you have sold Corporate Performance Management software (such as Covalent, InPhase Performance Plus, ClearView, AspireView, CorVu, CACI, 360 Excelsis, Ten Performance Manager &/or QPR, etc). Experience of a recognised sales methodology such as Sandler, Solution Selling or Spin Selling would be extremely desirable.

This is a home based role which requires travelling across the UK so a full driving licence is required. There will also be ad hoc overnight stays.
