I am currently recruiting for an exclusive role for my multi billion global leading client based in the Bristol area.
They are a .NET software house and they need an individual who will be the right hand man of the technical director at this site for the business with a team that you will be responsible for.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day line management of onshore development team:
Approve holiday requests and assist individuals with HR issues
Grow the teams as required by additional projects
Monitor employee performance, taking remedial action where required
Scrum master role in delivery of software:
Running a cross-functional scrum team consisting of a mix of UK and India based associates
Running the scrum of scrums
Ensure standards are maintained and that agreed processes are followed
Work with business partners and internal leads to help plan each release
Ensure that teams have appropriate specifications, direction, resources and skills to deliver the right solutions, to a high quality, on time
Contribute to the evolution of our platform architecture and development processes; for example:
Identification and evaluation of promising new technologies
Prototyping and initial implementation of particularly complex items
Specification/development of improved document or reporting templates
SKILLS
5+ years experience managing the full end to end software development lifecycle
Experience delivering software with Scrum
Demonstrable ability to keep abreast of new technology and development practices
Excellent communication skills, able to express complex ideas and work through complex issues
Capable of simultaneously working across multiple projects, managing priorities based on business needs and project schedules
Strong technical background, ideally with experience in Microsoft .NET

Experienced Development manager is required for a multi billion global leading organisationfor the design and development of a development platform used by multiple RD teams within the business, the design and development of core end user features, and architectural oversight of the platforms usage.
