An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer – Electromechanical, based in Hertfordshire, to join this industry leader in the design and manufacture of test technology.
Due to continued growth they are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their multidisciplined team of engineering professionals where you will be involved with the design and development of the companies new product range. Based around Electro-mechanical design you will facilitate New Product Introduction from R&D into manufacture. Duties include new designs, BOM, technical documentation etc.
Keys skills and experience for Mechanical Design Engineer:
Sufficient experience within Mechanical Design for Electro-mechanical products
Experience of New Product Introduction (NPI) & Design for Manufacture (DFM)
2D & 3D CAD experience (Solidworks ideally)
Experience of MRP / BOM / following processes is essential
Knowledge of hydraulics or Pneumatics would be an advantage

We have a vacancy open for a Software Engineer (Control) who has from 2 years experience to vast experience to join a world leading R&D consultancy developing control software, with a particular focus on software development for products and automated process applications used for high-technology applications such as robotics, industrial automation systems, scientific instrumentation and medical/healthcare systems. The ideal candidate
As a Software Engineer you will have;
* Previous software development experience using C or C++ to develop real-time control software and/or automated process applications.

* You must be able to quickly learn new languages as necessary. Ideally you will be comfortable developing in an embedded and / or PC-based development.
* Knowledge of Servo-mechanisms, control loops, etc
* You will need to be degree qualified in a related subject.
Location: South Cambridge (commutable from Bedford, North London, Cambridge, Stevenage, Harlow and Bury St Edmunds)
Salary: £30k - £60k + Excellent Benefits
