My well established, dynamic Client is urgently recruiting for a Data / Reporting Analyst to support their Senior Management team through the provision of high quality and accurate business reporting. The successful Candidate will play a lead role in providing management information to both support the growth of the business and operational teams.
The business is now focusing ensuring the information is communicated accurately and effectively. Reporting to the Finance Director, due to the focus on Management Information and Financial Reporting.
I am looking for a Data / Reporting Analyst with proven experience in data extraction and integration - manage data outputs, define data population frequencies, transformation and validation rules, automate populations and maintain data integrity and security, creating and maintaining end user documentation. Create and publish MI / BI dashboards, drill down pivot table reports and other dynamic data mining front ends using SQL Server, Excel, Access and other tools as appropriate. Reporting Services - define, build, publish and maintain end-user reports using SQL Reporting Services.
All staff collaborate both formally in scheduled management meetings and informally via ad hoc interaction. Being the first point of contact for such a wide range of responsibilities, the ideal Candidate will require excellent interpersonal communication skills, a "can do" attitude and a personal pride in owning an issue from report to resolution.

The Company:

Our international client provides Intelligent Data Monitoring and Housing Solutions for Data Centre installations throughout the world.

They are now seeking an experienced Project Engineer who is familiar with Data Centre technology and who will report to the local Business Unit Manager. (UK)

Job Description:This role will involve several technical disciplines including I.T., Mechanical and Electrical in order to assist the development of the business in project managing their various data centre solutions.

Pre-Sales: To give technical advice and support to customers in support and sales.

Post Sales: Project Management throughout the installation and hand over of the project.

Main tasks

·Develop a suitable customer solution within the company guidelines.

·Manage the project from order acceptance to project completion

·Provide full documentation to include: Project Plan, Health and Safety, Method Statements, and details of solution.

·Provide product demonstrations and customer training where necessary.

·Liaise with internal departments for procurement of parts and services. Assist with estimation and cost pricing.

Results

·Deliver the project within budget and on time. Ensure the customers expectations are met.Manage the project within company guidelines.

Job requirements / personal skills

·Minimum ONC in Engineering or equivalent.

·A good understanding of Mechanical, electrical and electronics

·A good working knowledge of Data Centres, IT, and networking

·Good verbal and written communication skills.

·Result and target driven.

·Full Driving Licence with flexibility to travel (abroad).

This is a hands-on VB6 software development role, working on a wide range of projects and technologies.Working within the Product Development team, you will work to develop, design and support new and existing product offerings.
