My client has an amazing opportunity for an ambitious PHP Developer to join their in-house design studio. They are a successful and established company specialising in mobile apps, websites and all aspects of digital media and printed material for clients nationwide.
The PHP Developer will directly report to the Studio Manager, the PHP Developer will have a passion for programming and be enthusiastic with a desire to succeed.
The PHP Developer will be involved in multiple projects at any one time for which you will be able to provide input.

Hays IT are working with a leading organisation in Liverpool, due to expansion they are looking bring in an experienced C++ Developer.
The Role
Work closely with business managers, User Experience engineers and Technical Lead to design application solutions.
Apply development expertise to everyday development activities to ensure long term scalability and maintainability of products.
Write great documentation and provide ample “testability”.
Provide the Project Manager with reliable estimates for technical work and review risk lists for completeness and accuracy.
Work with the QA lead to ensure timelines are met, and risk is mitigated.
Collaborate and communicate with other senior developers across the globe.
Requirements Essential:
5 years in C++, linux development
Skilled in STL, template and design pattern use.
OO development skills.
Database skills, specifically with PostgreSQL.
Experience with multi-threading and TCP / socket programming.
Desirable:
XML messaging systems
Use of boost libraries
Windows C++, MFC and Visual Studio.
Qt development skills, GUI design
Knowledge of other languages (Perl, PHP), Web services (Axis2)

Senior Game Developer
As the 3D/2D Game Developer you will be joining a growing new dynamic team, taking a significant role in 3D technical aspects of development. This exciting position will allow you to play a key role in the creation and fine tuning of a next generation of a 3D simulation system and 2D/3D game programming.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Heavy participation in solution design, system development and operational implementation

The Role

ROLE:
Reporting into the Technology Director, this is an excellent opportunity for the successful Head of Technology / Software Development to step into a key role and lead their site-based technology functions in Liverpool.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Holding responsibility for the day to day management of the Liverpool based development, delivery and IT operation teams, your role will involve providing clear communications of the IT activities around the business and overall planning of work.
b) You will ensure client and internal delivery is on budget and to schedule, support continuous improvement initiatives both in IT and across the business and drive best practice across the Delivery and Development functions.
c) You will work closely with peers heading up the Manufacturing, Customer facing and quality departments to ensure expectations are both aligned and exceeded.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
a) They’re looking for a commercially astute and delivery focused individual with proven experience in a senior software development role as well as project/programme management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
b) You will be degree qualified in a relevant subject area and have extensive industry experience.
c) A strong communicator with excellent problem solving skills, you will demonstrate good understanding of the current software security and compliance environment, experience in software development methodologies such as Agile SCRUM and excellent project planning.
d) An understanding of or experience of a manufacturing environment is required to successfully carry out this role.
e) Travel to different locations across the UK will also be required.
