PCB Design Engineer - Altium - Leeds

Based in Leeds (North UK), this established company seeks to hire a PCB Design/Layout Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering department. Reporting to the Project Manager, the PCB Design Engineer will be responsible for the following:

- PCB Design and working with the design team to complete designs in a timely manner
- Creating mechanical drawings, schematics and PCB layouts using company approved software (Altium)
- Contributing to product designs
- Ensuring PCB layouts conform to internal and external policies, ready for manufacture
- Initiate and ensure successful completion of PCB layout reviews prior to release
- Produce appropriate documentation to enable PCB suppliers to manufacture and;
- Assist with production of BOM

You will have a demonstrable background in industry from a PCB layout/design background (or mechanical), have a strong understanding of regulatory safety requirements in PCB design and be HND/degree qualified in a technology discipline or equivalent. Usage of Altium package is advantageous not essential and working both individually and as part of a team is essential.

My client based in Kent is heavily involved in the imaging and optical market, and now seeks a Senior Opto Mechanical Engineer to work with Optical, Electronic and System Engineers to design and develop optical systems. This is a lead role and requires relevant mechanical design experience of high performance optics, perhaps in the aerospace or defense industry.

Experience in the following is going to be required:
