A major company is looking for an experienced hands-on, technically involved architect with genuine full lifecycle product integration and end-to-end design experience. Battle scars and practical hands-on experience of the difficulties associated with integrating complex products to huge and varied environments will be of far greater importance than theory or exposure to the latest cutting edge technologies. This position will be facing off directly to the business, so strong communications and stakeholder management skills are also critical as you will be directly responsible for the delivery of multiple systems integrations on an ongoing basis. In summary, the main ESSENTIALS are:

• End-to-end design
• Systems integration
• Solutions Architecture
• Stakeholder management
• Experience of large heterogeneous environments

You will be working as part of a close-knit, specialist team with a very strong reputation for providing expert services across multiple business units. This role will offer excellent career progression, a very generous banking package.

Knowledge and Expertise • End-to-end software development lifecycle
• Software development methodologies, e.g. waterfall, agile
• Project management methodologies, e.g. RUP, CMMi, Prince II, PMI
• Awareness of leading-edge tools, techniques and services within IT

• Good level of experience of system consolidation and migration (preferred)
• Financial services (preferred)
