Business Support Analyst
Due to continued growth our client, Hope Construction, a leading supplier of construction materials is seeking two experienced business support analysts to provide the interface between business users and the IT organisation.
This is a new and exciting role, with the critical function of ensuring that IT services are always aligned to business needs, and that business users know how to exploit technology to deliver optimal business efficiency
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with the business functions (specifically Sales & Operations and Finance & Shared Services) to address functionality and usage issues.
• Co-ordinate with the IT organisation to resolve business concerns and articulate requirements.
• Provide support and training to the business community on new or modified applications.
• Manager the process of user acceptance testing, as required.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will be very business focused, but with a good understanding of IT solutions and their value in enhancing business efficiency. Likely to have a background that includes experience in Sales Operations or Finance, combined with good IT knowledge, the additional requirements include;
• Some knowledge of SAP, with the emphasis in Sales or Financial modules
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
• Solid business acumen, combined with the ability to interact effectively with IT
• Flexibility, resilience and a relentless focus on results.
• A current driving license
There is considerable flexibility with where the position is based, with options to be located in the Midlands, South West or the North East, and some requirement to travel to different sites. A good base salary of up to £35k is offered, plus benefits.
