Controls Engineer
A structured approach is required in developing plc based control systems, utilising appropriate methods and following relevant European and international standards. You will be determining best solutions to technical issues, and planning activities.
It is essential that you are a team player, able to work closely with fellow engineers and colleagues from around the world.
A key aspect of the role is the creation of documentation to support the manufacturing process, you will therefore also be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
In addition experience of Microsoft Visual Studio (VB.net or C#) would be an advantage.
You will have a minimum qualification of HND or equivalent in electronics, computer science or a related discipline and have at least five years experience working in a similar environment. Alternatively, if your qualification is at degree level, three years experience is likely to be sufficient. This experience will preferably have been gained in either the semiconductor equipment or process industries.

Aligned with the Site Strategy implement CATIA (V4, V5, V6) and participate and contribute to regular reviews to deliver the latest PLM solutions to deliver direct business cost benefits through innovative solutions, business continuity and a reduction of direct support activities.

Duties:

Configure, test and deploy the latest versions of CATIA in line with business requirements
Configure, test and deploy CATIA related applications (Vericut, Torfibre, FlowTrim etc)
Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support for all areas of the business (Engineering & Manufacturing)
Interactive with the other ICT teams to deliver robust and supportable solutions
Document all new software configurations and provide ICT cross training and handover to support
Adhere to ICT Change Control procedures
Provide weekly KPIs for system performance, system availability and licence utilisation
Timely closure of user incidents and software requests
Configure and support CATIA on Windows 7 64 bit
Implement a test environment for user acceptance testing of all future application releases
Review existing configuration and where appropriate identify and implement improvements
Keep up to date with all new releases of the CATIA PLM suite
Enhance the CATIA support model to secure business continuity

Back End Web Developer (.Net, ASP.Net, C#, MVC)
