Junior Digital Verification Engineer – Bristol, UK

An exciting opportunity has become available in Bristol for an ambitious Junior Digital Verification Engineer within an innovative young start-up company, specialising in low cost 60GHz WiGig technology. Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for the specification, design and implementation of IP blocks for digital signal processing applications. Your duties will include creation of requirements specifications, modelling systems in Matlab/Octave and C++, digital design and verification using my client's proprietary technology and digital design and verification using Verilog.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant electronics subject and;

• Experience of digital design / verification using Verilog, systemVerilog or VHDL
• Experience / understanding of software systems design tools and languages
• Experience of RTL/High Level Synthesis and Timing constraints generation
• A good understanding of wireless technology, DSP design, C++/System C modelling and virtual prototyping

My client, an exciting young start-up developing novel IP for the Wireless Communications industry, has an immediate and urgent need for an Embedded Digital Signal Processing ( DSP ) engineer to join their team based in Bristol UK.

Candidates should be degree qualified and have some proven commercial experience in the following areas:

- Embedded Software development for TI DSP / ADI DSP or similar (microcontrollers, STARCore etc)
