Abrecco wish to recruit, on behalf of our client, a Release Manager to join a small yet established and rapidly expanding company in Dundee with a global presence. In this role you will be responsible for providing support for build management and continuous deployment on the company’s internal live systems. To be considered for this role you will have the following:
Essential:
- Strong commercial experience in software development / software QA
- Experience with Java or Ruby
- Strong knowledge of Source Control Systems
- Strong experience of merging and deploying code using a Source Control System
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration
- Git, Github
- Team City
- Degree or similar in IT

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You must have a passion for developing high quality software and games.
You should be extremely self-motivated and thrive in a team environment.
You should be fluent in at least one OO language (e.g. C++, AS3, C#, Java) and have an understanding of OOD (e.g. design patterns, SOLID, modelling languages).
You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of algorithms, data structures and 3D mathematics.
You will have experience of implementing high performance, real time 3D systems such as games or demos.
