SENIOR CONSULTANT - Quantity Surveyor with dispute management experience (Ref: BF48466)

Qualified Quantity Surveyor with dispute management experience within the construction industry. Responsibilities will include:
· Preparing and defending claims
· Supporting experts in adjudications/abitrations/litigations.
· Assisting employers, contractors or insurers and their legal teams in analysing and reporting on quantum and contractual claims for projects such as airport facilities; highway interchanges; offshore facilities and public buildings
· Involvement in developing strategies behind formulating and defending claims
The ideal candidate will have:
· Over ten years' senior level experience, in the management of construction projects
· Commercial management experience, acting for both clients and contractors on a variety of major projects
· Project/construction management experience on a range of construction projects.
· Must have excellent report writing skills.
· General industry exposure - specialisation in areas such as M&E and Civils would be an advantage


Salary
£60 - £65,000 per annum.

Salary

Salary reviews conducted yearly. Will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus as determined by the Directors. Could be anything btw £5,000 - £10,000 or more.
Holidays
In addition to normal public holidays and normal working days between Christmas and New Year's Day, will be entitled to 27 working days' holiday.
Car Allowance
Annual allowance of £4,500 p/a, paid monthly with salary, less such deductions as are required by law.

Reimbursement for the subscription of membership of one professional association, which employee is required to belong to, for the performance of duties.
