PRINCIPAL PACKAGES ENGINEER
GREENFORD, MIDDLESEX
We are seeking a Principal Packages Engineer to be involved in the execution and development activities in assigned technology areas to resolve important technical issues and to coordinate work. This may involve working on several projects at one time and making decisions independently on engineering problems and methods.
In a supervisory capacity, you will plan, develop, coordinate and direct a large or complex engineering project, or several small projects with many complex features to meet project technical and environmental requirements. As technical specialist, you will develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities, assessing the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering ideas and evaluations, developing necessary data as required. Usually performs as an advisor and consultant in a technical speciality.
To succeed as Principal Packages Engineer you should be qualified to BSc Degree level in Engineering (or equivalent) with substantial progressive applicable experience. You should be a Chartered Engineer and an ideally an active participant in professional societies.
You must be familiar with a variety of packaged equipment such as loading arms, flare systems, water treatment plant, boilers, chemical dosing, nitrogen plant etc and should have extensive and diversified knowledge of vessel and Heat exchanger engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments.
You must be an effective leader and team supervisor who is competent and responsible in counselling subordinates in career development and enhancement of skills to aid in achieving career goals.
